Today is July 4th; Independence Day. How did I celebrate? By waking up early to write an experimental industrial tech beat!
This project was relatively quick, although it took a few iterations. After waking up, I intended to make some vintage breakbeats, but my software was acting up so I had to do something else.
Most of the track came together using GrooveCell with stock samples. I have my go-to samples and drum plugins, but I wanted to try something different.
I’m really excited about the artwork that goes along with the track. It took a few attempts to generate what I wanted, but I’m happy with the result. BOOMERANG's a character straight out of Apex!
